Independent Advocacy Adults East and Midlothian

We offer individual, instructed, non-instructed, and collective advocacy for adults (16+) with a learning disability and people with autism.

We can help you if you are:

Subject to detention under the Mental Health Act
Undergoing process of a welfare/financial guardianship application under Adults with Incapacity Act
Subject to Adult Support and Protection measures
A parent with a child on the Child Protection Register or your child is being removed from your care

We can also help you to:

Make a complaint about your care and treatment
Review your package of care or raise concerns
Raise housing issues
Understand your welfare benefits
